Emergency Preparedness

At Thrive Group, the health, safety, and security of our residents, clients, staff, and visitors is our highest priority. We are committed to being prepared for any potential emergency, which we define as any urgent situation that presents a threat to well-being and requires immediate action. To that end, we have developed a detailed Emergency Preparedness Manual that outlines the coordinated response plans for all our locations, including our Long-Term Care homes and Community Service sites.

This comprehensive manual provides our teams with clear, actionable procedures for a wide range of scenarios, ensuring we can minimize risks and maintain a safe environment. Our plan utilizes a recognized system of color codes, such as Code Red for fire or Code Grey for the loss of utilities, to ensure a common and immediate understanding of any event. Developed in consultation with community emergency services, these plans are regularly reviewed, tested through drills, and updated to ensure effectiveness.
